Presentation about Self-Defense for Women - Monday April 14th 2008, 7-8 PM

• FREE & OPEN to all University of Oregon affliliated women (students, faculty, staff, etc)

• Elly Maloney will be presenting a lecture-style presentation on women's self-defense covering:

- an overview of the most common types of sexual assaults

- an understanding of how perpetrators work

- an introduction to the powerful set of self-defense tools we have to increase our safety and well-being

.... including verbal, physical and mental strategies
