Sexual Violence Prevention

The End Sexual Violence Oregon website is sponsored by the Prevention and Education Committee of the Oregon Attorney General's Sexual Assault Task Force. The Prevention and Education Committee believes that: primary prevention efforts must focus simultaneously on males' perpetration of sexual violence as well as on raising the status of women and girls; all efforts must include the involvement of both men and women to be successful; and the problem is of such a pervasive scope that it must be solved with assistance from all members of Oregon's communities.

Oregon Attorney General's Sexual Assault Task Force works to develop and support effective, consistent and collaborative approaches to response and prevention of adult and adolescent sexual violence in Oregon. For it's purposes, the Task Force defines "sexual assault" of adolescents as acts of forced or coerced sexual conduct by perpetrators over 14 years of age against victims over 14 years of age.

Located in Eugene, they are a newly formed non-profit focused on perpetrator prevention, providing services including community education and support services to people who are suspected of having a sexual behavior problem.
